Welcome to the 1000 Giving Gardens Portal!
The 1000 Giving Gardens Initiative is our movement to spread more gardens to more neighborhoods. Our goal is to establish 1,000 public-access gardens — and we need community leaders like YOU to help us get there.
Selected gardens will receive ample garden resources, training on Giving Garden growing techniques, and ongoing support from our team to ensure an abundant harvest in 2026 and beyond.
Application Process for the 2026 Season:
Apply: Submit your application by January 30th, 2026.
Initial Review: Our team will contact you by February 2nd regarding your site’s suitability.
Site Consultation: If your site is a match, we will schedule a virtual or in-person meeting in early February to discuss logistics.
Onboarding: If selected, we will finalize our partnership agreement, outlining the resources you’ll receive and our shared expectations for the 2026 season.
If your site is not a fit for this year, don't worry — we will provide specific feedback on how to strengthen your application for the 2027 season.
